This is a great place to go and have a snack or something to eat and drink. They are very welcoming and friendly and my guide dog loves going there and occasionally getting a treat it's a nice warm atmosphere

Whilst I was in Bourton we met a really good friend and we went into this place, the place itself is really nice and well decorated it appeared clean and we chose to have a rarebit which consisted of sun dried tomatoes, cheese and pesto...

Now we got eating them and well this pesto, well I think half the sea's salt had been put into it and as a result we couldn't eat but half of them... So it's a poor show from us Northerners and we award it 3/10 for this reason... The scones we purchased were really good but the saltiness of those RAREbits.... make it a LOT rarer...

Good Afternoon

Thank you for taking the time to send us your review here at the Cornish bakery. We are very sorry that you felt the rarebit was too salty. We will be making sure that all the staff that make the rarebit know exactly how much salt to add tom the mix. We are glad that you enjoyed the scones though. We do hope that you can visit us again at the Cornish bakery.

Thank you again for your review

Many Thanks

Shamelessly aiming for revenue from overseas tourists (Cornwall being a significant hike from the Cotswolds.......). Nevertheless great coffee, pasties and pastries; take away or eat in. Get there early to avoid the queue.

Light and bright interior with pleasant efficient staff and a good selection of pastries and pasties. The Union capucinno was rich and creamy whilst my pan au chocolat was delicious. There are a few tables outside overlooking the windrush as well as a good number of seats inside. At £4.30 this was excellent value for money and I only wish they did a bigger version of the capucinno.

We were lucky enough to find The Cornish Bakery in the High Street. Wonderful selection of pastries to choose from. The bason, leek n cheese was mouth watering and the quiche n salad lovely. Highly recommended.
