A very warm welcome from Hanna, which was maintained from start to finish. This was a beautiful B&B, and immaculately clean throughout. Breakfast was superb, and any request was not a problem. Perfectly situated for walking into the village, and nearby pubs and resaurants.
We stayed for 3 nights at the end of September, and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definately be going back, and have recomended this B&B to our family and friends.

A very welcoming B&B in what can only be described as a beautiful village. The B&B was spotlessly clean through out and Hanna was a perfect host, making sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast was first - class in both taste and variety and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend Meadow Rise to anyone.

We found Meadow Rise on the internet and our stay of 4 days was better than we could have hoped for or expected. Everything was so helpfully and caringly provided. We shall recommend it to friends and very much hope to go to Meadow Rise again before long.

I booked my very elderly aunt (almost 90) into Meadowrise, as this was the first place in the village that sounded very caring and helpful to her needs, having tried four other places first. The house is absolutely gorgeous with a large entrance hall fruit laid out, there is a huge lounge overlooking the garden and fields with very big settees, papers etc. In the rooms are comfy easy chairs, a dressing table, tissues, lots of toiletries in the bathroom with cleanser, cotton wool, scales, lots of fluffy towels, expensive wooden clothes hangers, a suitcase rest, large choice of teas/coffee and a fridge with mineral water, everything was thought of. They also have a stair lift and a stool for the shower if needed. The interior is wonderful with lovely pieces of art on the walls, a bookcase with paperbacks for guests and an amazing breakfast. The whole house is spotlessly clean. I will be recommending it highly to any of our family and friends who come and stay in the area, I can't rate it highly enough. Hannah and Beverley were perfect hosts, always eager to help in any way.

Room Tip: The owners of Meadowrise were happy to let us choose our room from the ones available.
