“Friendly Host”

We stayed there from 8 to 10 May. Varian, our lovely host made us feel welcomed. It's a quaint little cottage with good proximity to explore the surrounding Cotswold region. Rooms were clean and a hearty breakfast provided which was a good start for the day. I would have attached a photo of our host but she was bashful and I promised not to do it.

Just spend a very nice weekend with my family. We travel around England a bit but it was the best B&B we ever stayed at.It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and we loved the breakfast that was so big we couldn't eat it all. The room we stayed in was a studio outside the house. It was big enough for us 4 and we loved the garden. We were able to come and go anytime we wanted. We were able to have a barbeque and it was a very nice quiet location. the walk to the town was really nice especially when we wondered around back streets. We had a great stay and I can highly recommend the place.

When looking at staying in the cotswolds you could do no better than to stop looking and stay at Whiteshoots,
Verian (the owner) is lovely and nothing is too much trouble, 10 minute walk to bourton and 15 minutes back possibly 20 dependant on how many of the fine real ale establishments you frequent before heading home.
The rooms are very nice, clean, easy parking and the breakfast is fantastic!!!
I can't think of anthing bad to say about our stay there.

Thanks Verian

Matt and Sue

We were a group of 5 girls staying for one night. Upon Verian's recommendation, we took a double room in the house and the studio apartment, which was separate to the main house. The B&B is located just outside Bourton, it's only a short walk to the main high street. There was plenty of parking and we were free to come and go as we pleased which suited us perfectly. The double room in the house was really nice - and although the studio room is a bit more basic, it suited us perfectly. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable and it worked out to be good value for money. Verian was a great hostess - she was friendly and gave us lots of advice on where to eat and visit. She was flexible on check in times and check out times, and really went out of her way to make our stay a happy one. The breakfast in the morning was lovely - lots of choice and all cooked fresh. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again. Bourton was a lovely place to visit, and this B&B was a good find.

We have just come back form staying at the B&B and just want to share how fantastic it was. We a room separate to the house as we had our 3 boys with us. I have to say from beginning to end the boys and us loved it there, we had loads of space in the room (bunk bed, travel cot, single bed and double bed) along with a good tv and dvd as well as a little kitchen area. The views are lovely and a little horse at the bottom of the garden. Breakfast could not have been any better Verian made us feel so welcome and was very kind. The weather was not great but the room was lovely and warm and we had everything we needed in our room in the evening to keep the kids busy. I often worry when taking the boys away but there was plenty of space for them to play outside and the room was big enough not to get cabin fever..
will definitely return

We recently returned to Whiteshoots Cottage after a long absence and our visit this time was even better than before. Admittedly the weather was brilliant but the welcome we received was brilliant as well.
There are just so many picturesque places to visit around Bourton ,The Slaughters are wonderful, Arlington Row at Bibury,Burford,Broadway also, & there are several great gardens nearby.
The accomodation was very pleasant with great views down to the village, & the breakfasts were excellent.
We hope to not leave it so long before we return.
Thanks to Verian for a good break

We stayed there one night with my family 2 adults and child and what a great welcome from verian, it was so nice with a real feeling of home away from home. The room is nice and has everything you need, the bathroom too is nice and feels like home. The breakfast room is nicely decorated and food is good. And the view and suroundings are amazing... So sad we could only stay one night but we will be back. Thank your for your hospitality verian.
