This is a lovely row of houses set in the gorgeous village of Bibury, ther are lots of walks out of the village leading around the Cotswold countryside and back so you can either work off a lovely cream tea or stop for one when you're finished. There is also an ice cream van situated in the car perk, very handy.

Lovely short river walk from Bibury Trout farm took us to Arlignton Row. This gorgeous little row of cottages were built in 1380! Over 600 years later and is amazing that they are still standing so strong. Was built as a monastic wool store and converted into a row of weavers' cottages in the 17th century. Now owned by the National Trust. You cannot actually go inside the cottages, but still lovely to walk along the street and imagine what it must have been like to live there in times past. Has been used in films too.

Definitely worth a visit if in Bibury, although we went on a weekday in September and was fairly busy, lots of Japanesse tourists with cameras everywhere. Could imagine it being too crowded in height of summer

Used to travel through Bibury many times on the way to Cirencester years ago and occasionally I would stop off at the icecream shop and walk along the small nature reserve and river to Arlington Row... amazing that these cottages are still lived in.. have a look at small the front doors are :-)

We don't live too far from Bibury, and love regular visits down to Bibury. A beautiful, beautiful village... Really captures the essence of the cotsworld. Glorious in the warmer weather.. Only difficulty is trying to find a spot to park in busy seasons... Can't wait for our next visit!

this is a beautiful row of cottages and so quaint. Despite the rain, it is still extremely picturesque.
