The cottage was exceptional in every way, certainly the cleanest, not a speck of dust in sight and the little touches didn't escape my eagle eye. Unfortunately the weather put a damper on our seaside plans but if its tranquillity and peace you're looking for then this is the best spot in Rye with cows and sheep literally on your doorstep. My son is autistic and I've never seen him so calm. We did cut our stay short but this was due to health problems, I would however come back with my partner and son on another occasion. Simon and Anne were very friendly and hospitable, simply great hosts!
Anne & Simon were very welcoming and friendly. The Wool Store was comfortable and relaxing and adequately stocked with crockery & cooking equipment etc.
Five minutes by car from Rye, we enjoyed exploring the town which has some great individual shops, plenty of coffee shops and some excellent restaurants. The farm shop close to the farm is a useful amenity.
Lamb Farm is well positioned for visiting many National Trust properties and RSPB/nature reserves.
