“Every thing you need for a restful stay”
Reviewed July 19, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Situated within a very few minutes walk of the town, shops, station, buses, restaurants and pubs. Own parking space just outside the front door in a small garden with a picnic bench. The kitchen is very well equipped with a family sized table, a cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. Tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, liquid soap and tea towel were included along with a selection of cleaning products. Comfortable sofas and cushions in the living room with a large television. A cosy room to relax in. Bedrooms are a good size and well furnished. One room has twin beds the other a double bed. TVs and hairdryers in the rooms. The bathroom is spacious and again well equipped - good quality towels and flannels and toilet rolls. The shower has a good flow and is easily adjusted to just the right temperature. Overall it was the best holiday rental property I have ever stayed in. It has a very good connection to the WiFi. It also has a land line telephone which can be used for outgoing and incoming calls providing you leave a contribution covering the cost of the calls. A great deal of thought has clearly been put into providing everything that you would need for it to be a home from home. It deserves its four star rating without a doubt!

What a lovely review.. We do try hard to ensure that the house has everything that our guests may need and we update bedding, towels and soft furnishings on a regular basis to keep it feeling fresh so receiving such a nice review makes it all worth while. Thank you

“Cosy base for a weekend in Rye”
Reviewed March 21, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A cosy, clean and comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, 1 x double and 1 x twin bedroom, Modern bathroom with shower. The heating was good and kept us nice and cosy. It also has its own off-road parking space.

Easy to drive to and well situated as base to explore Rye or to travel further a field.

A great base for a weekend away for four adults (2 parents + 2 uni aged daughters)

“Very comfortable base in Rye”
Reviewed September 27, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Comfortable, clean and well equipped holiday home. It had everything we needed for a short break and was in a fairly central position with a bonus of parking outside the property.

“Convenient and great place to stay”
Reviewed August 25, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We've just got back from a long weekend away with our 1yr son, and would happily recommend this accommodation. Close to everything in Rye, it is perfect for getting out and about either on foot or by car to other local attractions. It was clean and comfortable, and had what we needed for a small child, with a high chair and cot provided. The parking right outside the front door was great, especially when raining! The welcome pack had useful information too.

“Great house in a very convenient location for travelling around Sussex”
Reviewed August 25, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

The house is a really well equipped, comfortable, modern house in the newer part of Rye. It had everything we needed for a short break. It's a stone's throw away from the old town. There is a supermarket and station within a few minutes walk of the house. We used it as a base to travel to local beaches. There isn't any Wi Fi but in my view this was good as it meant a proper break away from internet distractions.Would certainly return again.

“Very reasonably priced, well appointed holiday home within walking distance of Rye's cobbled streets”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

The holiday home was lovely- very well furnished and clean. The location was ideal being just outside the old city walls but only a 2 minute walk away to get on to the cobbled streets of Rye. An added plus was that there was parking, which most of the places within the city walls don't have. Although the house was next to the Rye Police Station, there was absolutely no noise - perhaps crime is low in Rye! The local supermarket, Budgens, and the train station is also just a 5 min walk away, so this house really is ideally located.
We travelled with a small baby, and they provided a travel cot in the bedroom for us.
The holiday home is almost like a hotel, with TV and tea/coffee/kettle in both bedrooms. One thing to look out for is the milk sachets provided with the tea/coffee in the bedrooms - don't use them as they are old and curdled and probably not been replaced in a while!
Nevertheless, we had a very good stay in clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation and would certainly book again for a future visit to Rye.
