Bathroom was dirty, room was ok, carpet old, entrance had better times. Plenty of parking. To expensive.

The outside accommodation was clean, quite spacious, although somewhat dated, but the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

We stayed here last year and had a large chalet style room which was bright and airy. We decided to book again on this basis but this time, we were allocated a small double room. We were travelling with our two young children and were provided a camp bed which was placed at the end of the bed. This made the room even smaller and the addition of our travel cot was nigh on ridiculous. This room was upstairs and having to haul our two children and all the paraphernalia required for them up the stairs was not pleasant.

The bed linen is very old and the room was generally very worn and
old.

All in all, I was very disappointed this year.

I recently stayed at Top 'O' the Hill for 5 nights with my husband. We had a wonderful time! The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean, warm and cosy and the food in the restarant was top quality. It was nice that we didn't have to go out to eat because we knew we would get a nice meal by staying in. I would definitely recommend a stay at this B&B.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the chalets.
