Beautifully refurbished house. Very warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful. Our room was fab, spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The bathroom had superb fittings and was very modern. Honesty bar provided with free water which is extremely useful. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Highly recommended

What a lovely hotel! Found it whilst browsing on the web and thought the rooms looked gorgeous, I wasn't disappointed. Seng and Elisabeth were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really good too. Highly recommend.

My brother and I enjoyed our brief stay at Hastings House. The bedrooms were stylish and very comfortable and the propriotor made us feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay.

The English breakfast was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented with fresh filter coffee a nice extra touch.

The hotel is idealy located only 50 yards from the Hastings / St. Leonards promenade.

All in all, very good value for money.

Although the weather was not on our side, Seng and Elisabeths fantastic hotel saved our weekend break. The bedroom was immaculate and the facilities in it perfect. Their hospitality and help was great; recommending some very good restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and the service would put a lot of more expensive hotels to shame. Exceptional value for money and highly recommended.

A small welcoming hotel with lovely rooms and wonderful breakfasts cooked specifically for you and served on hot plates, hurray! It will be even better when the plans for the ground floor are completed later this year. With the sea just across the road, good public transport links very close by and within walking distance of all the attractions of a seaside town on the up again, it's a great place for a relaxing and interesting British holiday.

  • Liked — Closeness to all the things I wanted or needed
  • Disliked — The lack of direct switches on the bedside lights.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 20 month old son. It's a lovely little B&B with excellent views over the sea. The actual location isn't the greatest in some respects as it can be quite noisy at night but then we do live in a very quiet village! The rooms are really nicely furnished and decorated. You are provided with fresh cookies and water everyday and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. The breakfast is really good and everything is fresh. Parts of the hotel are still being renovated but this does not distract from the overall hotel. You cannot fault the level of service the owners provide and they really go out of their way to make you feel special. We will be sure to go back someday.

  • Liked — The rooms were beautifully decorated.
  • Disliked — The long walk up the stairs

We had a lovely weekend at Hastings House, and were to made to feel very welcome by the owners Seng and Elizabeth. We stayed in room 7 which had a lovely sea view, and was decorated to a very high standard. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel with an excellent breakfast with an array of choices. Overall we had a lovely stay and would most definatly stay there again.

Many thanks Gray Neet and Lacey.
