“Fabulous cottage”
Reviewed October 9, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Swallows Nest is a lovely cottage and central to local walks most of which can be started from opposite the cottage. The owners add the extra touches that make this cottage stay so pleasant. The information pack covers absolutely everything. The best we've seen. Chris supplies you with a local map with additional info. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the 3rd time that we have visited Swallows nest. and every time it seems to get even better
The cottage is a place in which we were able to relax, swim in the pool or just crash out in the hot tub at anytime that suited us.
Special thanks to and Chris and Eric who are the perfect hosts and we were made to feel most at home with them.
We all look forward to returning to Swallow nest for our next holiday.

“Top quality holiday cottage”
Reviewed July 20, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Chris & Erick were friendly and welcoming hosts, who were on hand to guide us round the facilities, a fabulous indoor heated pool, hot tub and their beautiful gardens. They also provided loads of info regarding the surrounding area. They have obviously put a great deal of thought into trying to provide the ultimate holiday cottage experience and it has really paid off. The cottage itself was immaculate, stylish decor, fully equipped kitchen also extras such as decent hairdryer and ironing board. Enourmous comfy bed with sumptuous bed linen. TV had wide range of channels. Welcome pack was fab and well thought out, nice touch after a long drive. Loved it, will definitely return and recommend to others.

“Could not have been better.”
Reviewed July 19, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We really enjoyed our stay in Swallows Nest. The standard of accommodation and facilities was outstanding, with every need and eventuality catered for. Indeed, a great deal of thought was expended in providing items not normally encountered in "self- catering", a welcome pack, shower gel and flowers for example. The location is ideal for touring the local area and Historical sites. Hastings is an easy 10 minute drive away, with Winchelsea and the delightful Rye only a few minutes more. Pevensey and Battle are within easy reach, after pleasant short drives. Hastings Country Park in which the cottage is situated is a most beautiful area with lovely evening walks, guaranteed to lift the spirits. As I become older I often say, perhaps I will not return to a particular area, as there too many others to explore. In this case I may well make an exception, and Swallows Nest will be my first and probably only enquiry.

“Beauitful!!!”
Reviewed July 8, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We have just got back from a week stay at this LOVELY cottage.
From the beginning to the end was just perfect. On arrival we had no fuss getting keys to get into the cottage. We arrived around 3.30 and found milk tea bags sugar muffins cookies and fresh fruit which was a lovely touch after our drive as we could unpack without going straight out again to get the essentials. It was a lovely touch i must say so.
We went to have a look around to be greeted by two smiley friendly faces who showed us how to use everything and explained the pool and hot tub and what we needed to do. Nothing seemed to be to much!! We asked if they had a spare highchair we could use and was brought round to us literally straight away.
The building was lovely the bed comfy lovely bathroom.

Everything felt soooo clean and tidy and everything was spot on.
The owners have really put in alot of hardwork and effort and it has paid off.

The welcome pack was full of information from where the shops were to how to use oven.

Cottage was faultless and they had a guest book that guests had been writing there comments in and honestly every comment was just saying how brilliant the place is and how every little detail paid off.
Well done for all your hard work wish you every success in the future. Hope to be back for another mini break.
Thank you x

“Lovely, clean, spacious and relaxed.”
Reviewed July 4, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The two of us stayed for a couple of nights in June. Chris and Erick's gardens are amazing and access to the pool and jacuzzi are awesome. We didn't use the jacuzzi in the end, but the pool was amazing.

We'd come again, but next time prefer spend more time in the accomodation than anywhere else!!

Thanks guys for the nice stay!

Kyle

“Compact and Bijoux”
Reviewed June 3, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We were a family of 4 and were easily accommodated in the cottage and relished the homely crisp linen and fluffy towels. The cottage is an ideal base from which to explore both Sussex and Kent (Chapeldown not far at all!). Walking and trail running literally on your doorstep with breath taking views. A short drive to the promenade connecting Bexhill-On-Sea to Hastings made for a thoroughly enjoyable days' biking along coastal path 2. The property left us wanting for nothing. The heated swimming pool and hot tub ensured we were in fine shape for each coming day. A rare find.
