I was looking for somewhere to curl up to have a meal for Thanksgiving and wanted somewhere with a fireplace and atmosphere. I achieved that objective with this place. The staff are all very friendly, the food was good pub food, the atmosphere is lovely and the wifi is 5x download and 10x upload to what I experience where I am staying! The building itself is glorious. Originally a family home, this Grade II listed building is mostly original, including the pebble decoration at the front. The timber on the front of the building was salvaged from from bombed sites during the war and and from a local shipwreck. All in all an excellent location and I will be back! Thank you!
