“A Lovely warm welcome!!”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Stayed one night with my partner as my mum and dad were staying here too and recommended us to come here, so glad we stayed. Had a lovely room with a sea view. Really comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress. Keith and Wendy are excellent hosts and really made us feel welcome. Very helpful when we needed guiding for a good place to eat in the evening. Breakfast was yummy.Wish we could have stayed longer. Cant wait to go back in the summer!!

We stayed here for only one night but would have loved to stay longer. We have two children under 2 years old and needed a room that would fit all of us. The owners were very nice and accommodating, we were given a big room, it was clean and modern with everything you'd need and our bed was really comfy. We were given a room with a bathroom, having the bath was very good for the babies. We had an amazing sea view which was nice to wake up to. In the morning we had a really tasty breakfast. Our stay was great value for money. We will definitely be back but for longer next time. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, excellent.

Stayed one night with my son; very comfortable and clean room; lovely breakfast in a very pretty dining room. Jenny was very helpful with her infectious laugh and ready manner. Keith is a welcoming host and can cook a good breakfast. Loved the view of the sea, although the weather was atrocious and could not really sit out on the balcony.
But would definitely stay there again!!

Room Tip: Room with balcony looking out to the sea will have a great view.

Four of us had two rooms, both with a sea view, very clean shower was fantastic.
Breakfast was spot on , could not fault the place for the money. Even the landlord had a sense of humour. See you again soon.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Alexanders, very friendly owners. Our sea view room was very clean and comfortable, couldn't hear the traffic noise. Very good breakfast and lovely dining room. Well situated for walking into the old town.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room.

Just back after a short stay with Keith and Wendy at Alexanders, where nothing was too much trouble. A very clean and friendly bed and breakfast situated right on the seafront, and ideally placed to visit the Old Town, seafront or the nearby shopping centre which is within comfortable walking distance.
Our seaview room had an excellent view, free WiFi, and although you would probably find going on a course to understand Hastings Borough Council's town centre parking arrangements beneficial, Keith and Wendy provided us with a FREE parking permit each day so that we could at least get overnight parking in a secure car park for free, saving us a substantial amount of money.
We opted to pay a little extra for breakfast each day, which was always freshly cooked, and they obviously use good quality meat and vegetables with an almost endless supply of tea refills and hot buttered toast!
All round good value then, which we have no hesitation in recommending.

Booked a room to settle my son into Uni - 3 adults - then had a call at 8 the night before by an arrogant & rude member of staff telling me they dont accept 3 adults and instructing me to cancel my room with laterooms - offering zilch help. Charming!!!!
