Having recently stayed at this "Hotel" for two nights I feel a fair review is warranted.
The location of the hotel is superb. You really can't ask for me. It's a stone throw away from the pier. Parking is an issue, but then that's the story in Brighton as a whole.
The two girls that looked after us (I believe they were from Eastern Europe) we lovely. They were helpful, polite and willing to do anything to help us.
Decor is very very tired, withbubsightly stains on the dining room ceiling. The rooms are a 2* at best, and very basic. That can be forgiven for a reasonable priced crashpad. Make no mistake, this is a seaside B&B and quite a poor one in comparison to local competition.
The breakfast. Hmmm well, I was underwhelmed. 1 piece of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 small spoon of beans. Very very small, a child's size portion to be honest.
Toast and cereal was available with a good selection of jams - fresh coffee which was a surprise.
If you're not looking for anything more than a hostel type accommodation, and location is everything, you'll not go far wrong. If its a memorable weekend to impress the one you love....I'd look elsewhere. More
