We went to Bill's on the morning of our 2nd day in Brighton. Miserable weather, wind and rain battered coast. We were all a bit worse for wear. Bill's was a break in the clouds, literally and figuratively.
There were 12 of us, which I'm sure anyone can attest, is a complete and utter nightmare when it comes to organising food for all of them. Bill's revelled in the opporunity. We were sat on the balcony, two of us at first, and as tables cleared and our friends arrived, tables and chairs were there waiting for them. Huge draughts of orange juice, great espresso while we waited. Our food order taken without hassle, and brought to us promptly: warm, well-cooked and delectable. I had the veggie breakfast - a melange of flavour that seemed like it shouldn't work, but did - guacamole, mushrooms, houmous and sweet chilli? I'm making my own version this weekend.
My gf had a bacon sandwich, extra crispy bacon - they managed to amend everyone's orders as we went off-piste with no hassle.
And it was all pretty cheap.
Get to Bill's or you'll regret it.
