Great house, close to everything in Brighton, booked for relatives - spacious, light, spotless and comfortable. They loved all the little details e.g. night lights on landings and the huge dining area was great for everyone to get together. Beautiful rooms - and well set up for babies and children. They didn't want to leave!
A party of old schoolfriends from the '60s, accompanied by offsping of various ages, spent a very special 2017 New Year's Eve in this terrific tardis of a house. Our discarded shoes filled the hallway as we slippered downstairs to the big party dining room and entertained each other with a sing-along (accompanied by keyboard and violin), poetry and prose readings and a magic show. A blustery walk along the pier on New Year's Day set us up for 2018 and reminded us of why Brighton is such a fun town to visit. All 14 of us can thoroughly recommend this wonderfully comfortable and remarkably well-equipped house (better than any we've stayed in before) and appreciated the warm but unobtrusive welcome from Helen. We were pleased that our new year celebrations also helped contribute towards housing Syrian refugees through Helen and her family's endeavours.
We could not have been happier with the house and the way Helen looked after us. It really is a home away from home, having everything you need. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable.
The house is in a central location within walking distance from all amenities. 'The levels' are less than 5 mins walk with parks, cafes and shops right on your doorstep.
The house looks even better than in the photos. Plenty of space inside and out for our party of 15 adults and children. Helen thank you so much for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful home!
Helen has been very welcoming and helpful throughout the process until my arrival.
the House looks much better than the photos, it is spotless and very well organised.
we had a very good time
Thanks again Helen.
We would highly recommend staying at this incredible house! We have rented Helen's house for the past two years now and it never ceases to amaze. We run a festival called Swallowsfeet each year in Brighton and rent this house for the artist to stay together, cook, sleep, relax, party, enjoy and explore! The artists are always amazed and super happy with their home for the few days that they reside in Brighton. The home they acquire for those days really help to make them feel at home to do all the things they need and to feel comfortable. If there are a big group of you defiantly go here!! WONDERFUL!
