“Great for a 30th Birthday Weekend”
Reviewed June 6, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I organised a surprise weekend here for my wife's 30th birthday. We were a group of 16. The house is very big and great for large groups who want to eat and drink together. The garden gets lots of evening sun and we had a lovely BBQ one night. The kitchen had every kind of utensil needed and lots of glassware, cutlery and crockery and a large dishwasher so we never ran out. The fridge is very big and held enough food for the three nights. The kitchen seemed fairly 'soundproof' and we played music in the kitchen until the early hours without any complaint from the neighbours (they smiled at us the next day). It is a nice walk down to the seafront and is very close to a Real Patisserie (in the little artisan market just down the road) which does amazing croissants. There is also a single parking space included at the front, and reasonably priced parking available nearby through JustPark.com. I would recommend to any large group visiting Brighton.

“Everything thought out for a fantastic stay in Brighton”
Reviewed June 2, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a fantastic stay here as a base for exploring the Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

All the rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean, and it has everything you need for a holiday vacation, including large kitchen and dining room, Lounge, a well maintained garden and lots of bathrooms!

Helen was a fantastic host and provided all the info we could have needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Highly recommended!

“Fantastic house in a great location.”
Reviewed May 15, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

I recently stayed in this beautiful Victorian house, over the bank holiday weekend. The house is huge and very spacious. 14 of us stayed, in total, to celebrate some special birthdays. There are 6x large bedrooms so plenty of space. We spent a lot of time at the house because it was so great-particularly the large kitchen/dining area. It's in a really central location so we were able to walk to the Laines and take in the scenery.

Helen was extremely helpful and responded immediately to any queries we had about our stay.

All in all, we had a brilliant stay at this house and would strongly recommend it to anyone. We'll certainly be returning.

Thank you for your kind review Rosa! It was a pleasure to welcome so many artists for the Swallowsfeet Festival visiting Brighton for the first time and I'm glad they liked the 'themed rooms' and enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. You were perfect guests and I look forward to your next festival!

“Comfortable, spacious and well maintained”
Reviewed November 4, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We had an excellent stay at the house. From the moment we booked, we felt well looked after and the house is extremely well appointed. It's in an excellent central position for walking in to the centre of town and the beach and pier, and there are shops and pubs 2-3 minutes walk in either direction. Highly recommended.
