Description: One of the cosiest, liveliest little pubs in Brighton. With 30 years of music and performance history, the new owners Ben & Chris are pleased to continue the tradition! And with a new kitchen now at full throttle, the return to great food is here too - whats not to love!

The long haired barman is a scary man who should not be allowed to interact with the public or be involved in the hospitality trade in any way. He eats puppies. Pub is great hough.

I get fed up with the same old beers on tap, so when a friend introduced me to The Greys pub it was a very pleasent surprise. Loads of different ales to try and with the help of the very friendly and knowledgable long haired barman, me & my friend had a great tasting session. I will definately go back again and will recommend this pub to my friends.

Pub is cosy with nice furniture and woodburner. Unfortunately the barman with the long hair was aggressive and rude towards us. He was clearly annoyed that we had brought our small puppy to the pub and made us feel very unwelcome - completely unnecessary considering the pub was empty apart from us and a couple of regulars.

It's a shame as we are new to the area and were looking for a new local to drink at. The long haired barman certainly put us off and we have now opted to drink at the very welcoming geese pub across the road, which comes highly recommended.

A wonderful pub, a beloved friend of Brighton and one of the great boozers that make this town, sadly a victim of the big business doings of Enterprise Inns, the excellent landlord and Lady, Chris and Gill are taking their leave, so many thanks to them for the excellent service and wonderful hospitality offered over the years, we will miss you. I am heartbroken at this news Brighton just won't be the same.

Please write to Enterprise Inns at their website to protest if you feel the same, thank you
