In a street of pretty average restaurants, this place stands out by miles. The food is always beautifully prepared and such good value we often wonder why the prices haven't inflated in the last 3 or 4 years we've been coming here. The set menu is a steal with a beautiful selection of mixed meze followed by a choice of mains, or if you're feeling more adventurous you can go off piste on to the extensive al a carte. Good Lebanese beer (Almaza) and fabulous wine (Chateau Kefraya) which complements the food. The owner and staff are always friendly and the service is attentive and timely. Since Kambi's closed there's only one serious contender in Brighton for this kind of food and Alrouche is it.
