Description: Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.

Visited several times. Outstanding special food. You can taste how fresh the food is.
Beautiful surroundings, helpful staff.
You'll have trouble finding such wonderful food else where.
I am not a vegetarian but have returned time and time again!

“A port in a storm”
Reviewed April 7, 2014 via mobile

During our first visit to Brighton the heavens opened and the rain that fell can only be described as biblical. We ran to the nearest doorway hoping it was a cafe. It wasn't it was Terre a Terre and they were still closed but the really nice staff let us in and we had the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted!
Thank you.

“Mouth Watering”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

Absolutely best meal had for ages, weird being a vegetarian to go in with meat eaters and they even saying the same and for myself to have so many options and try food off other peoples plates. The staff were so efficient friendly and chatty and explained some of the dishes.

Looking forward to a return visit.

“flavour fest”
Reviewed April 5, 2014 via mobile

Wonderful food. The flavours are brilliant and unusual. Recognising the ingredients is difficult. Service was excellent from Clint. We had an issue with the wine and it was handled professionally with a swap. This is the best vegetarian restaurant there is. Go for the tapas plate. A fest of flavours.
