Description: Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.

“Always our first choice”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Each summer my wife and I visit Brighton to stay with her sister who is keen on vegetarian food. So are we when we go to Terre a Terre for lunch. They were out of action last year, following a fire, but are now back. And how! We have always enjoyed and appreciated the cooking and the service, which are of the highest order, but this time the shared tapas was outstanding even by their standards. So many complimentary but also contrasting flavours on one plate. Staff who know all about the food and the ingredients. Prices that are reasonable. A delight in every way.

“Wonderful 'pretty' and delicious veggie food.”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We have been devotees of Terre A Terre's recipes for a few years now - such atractive and achieveable recipes so a visit to the restaurant for a special birthday treat was planned.
We were not disappointed by the experience. The service was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere buzzy and lively and the food........!
We all ate off the set £27 summer menu and everything was perfect. Tantalising flavours and textures were on every plate. A weonderful experience and a great place to celebrate a family occasion.
PS Excellent park and rides service into Brighton.

“Best meal in Brighton”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

What can I say other than this is one place you must try. It was such interesting food presented in such an artistic way with amazing flavours we went back two days running, something I never do. They have a cook book which we also bought, this was food to hanker after, to get your taste buds really excited. The Tapas sharing plate - a feast for the eye and tongue were sensational. The churros sharing sweet with three dipping sauces were a delight. This food excited your senses in every way and made you smile. Service also came with a smile. Memorable!

“Outstanding vegetarian food”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We met friends of ours here for a meal, on the recommendation of their Bed & Breakfast. We're not vegetarian, but do love fresh vegetarian flavours, and Terre a Terre delivered in spades.

The food was delicious, the portions generous and the flavours exquisite. Two of our group had been vegetarian in the past, and they said the flavour combinations were imaginative and new.

Our waitress was also great. She was confident, knowledgeable on their menu and intelligent.

We all left with cards for Terre a Terre and we've spoken about travelling back to Brighton just for a meal here.

“meat eater converted for the night”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Visited Brighton with my vegetarian wife to see my daughter and agreed we'd try a proper vegetarian restaurant. It was fabulous, I'm still an avowed meat eater but will try other veggie places and go back here when next in Brighton.Menu variety was great - as was service, drinks and ambiance
