All staff very friendly. Restaurant was busy on a Saturday but service still very good with amusing waiting staff.
Food excellent with very large portions. A huge difference to the chains of Strada, Prezzo etc

Good service. Made to feel welcome. Standard Italian fare plus some additional dishes. Gets crowded and that is not surprising amid the complacent 2nd calss Preston Street restaurants. This one tries hard. Food well served, hot and tasty. Recommended.

We went to Casalingo quite late on a saturday night as a group of 6, we wanted a nice, quick, cheap meal before our night out and we definately got that and more. The menu was varied with a fair amount of fish and seafood dishes to choose from, the wine list was pretty impressive too. The staff were friendly without being too over the top and the general ambience of the place was relaxed and welcoming.

We ordered a mixture of dishes and each one was fresh, plentiful and cooked beautifully. I will be going back there very soon (and ordering the steak with brandy sauce) and would recommend above most other places in Brighton.

What a great place! We loved it. Went with a group of friends everyone enjoyed their meal I had the carpaccio (spelling?) OMG it was like being back in Amalfi beautiful! Wonderful staff very helpful. It was so good that on our three night stay in Brighton with a choice of 100s of places to eat we opted to go back on our last night. Its a small friendly clean and cosy place you just want to sit in there all night. Bellisimo! (spelling again?)

We had a lovely meal here before going to a gig at the Brighton Centre. We hadn't booked (advised) but they found us a table.

I had the calamari and spaghetti. Both were excellent.
