We planned to visit Cafe Rouge one evening (Tesco vouchers in hand!) but found the table options limited. This is quite a small restaurant and although this might make for a more authentic busy Paris cafe feel, we did not want to be eating a meal with our elbows glued to our sides! As a result we ended up giving it a miss on the first try...
On the next attempt, we arrived a little earlier - around 6.30pm - and found there to be more table options.
We ordered our favourites, the beef bourguignon and the poulet breton, which were as usual delicious. We also found the service from Beppe and the rest of the staff to be warm, friendly and very attentive.
