Have been here a few times on the recommendation of Chinese friends & it was good to see the place packed with members from the local Chinese community the last time we visited. It's not our sort of thing but I'm reliably informed the custard buns are the best for a very long way. When I say traditional dim sum, I mean not of the variety you might find in Hakkasan or Yauatcha but typical dim sum fare - shui mai, har kau, char sui bun etc. So on that score they're well done & good value. Some are better than others - the shanghai buns are very good (decent amount of broth inside & moist bun) & one portion was overcooked (difficult to extract from the basket) but it's generally good quality, the service is quick & helpful & dim sum portions are pretty generous at £2.60 - £3.60 a portion. Well worth a visit in Brighton.

Located on the seafront not far from Regency square. Amazing food and exceptional service. Quiet big place thought not fully used. Can be used as function room too. there is extra seating upstairs too. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food amazing and great service. No reservations needed.

We visited Brighton for the first time on 14th April 2013. We googled restaurants for Dim Sum and this one came up so after a 3 hour drive we headed straight there. It was the afternoon of the Brighton Marathon so was very busy but we got there at the end of the rush and were seated straight away. The order was taken promptly and our food arrived within 10 to 15 mins. It was very tasty and hit the spot. Marvellous! So much so that we went back the next day for lunch and we received the same high standard. On our return we were recognised and made to feel like regular customers. Very friendly service. Descent prices and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Fresh flowers were everywhere and very clean toilets which always gets an extra mark! My only very very small gripe was that our noodle portion was very small on the first visit (maybe because they had been so busy and running low on noodles and hadnt the time to prepare more) but on the second visit the portion was of the normal size. If you want Dim Sum in Brighton, this is the place to go.

This restaurant was recommended by our hosts at the b&b, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent and service was attentive without overdoing it. We would return without hesitation next time we are in Brighton.
