Can’t speak highly enough of Semolina. Unassuming, unpretentious location and service, with top quality food and interesting wine choices.

Thank you very much! We ll be back regularly.

Had a decent lunch here. Good lunchtime menu. Limited specials but great attention to detail. Excellent service.

A sweet place for a very quiet, quiet meal with simple menu so if you prefer your meal to be simple, quiet and intimate and want to support a new business go along.

This restaurant was very much recommended by several of our friends, so we had quite high expectations. Unfortunately, I can only give it 3 stars.
Pros:
Very lovely staff, warm, welcoming and pleasant. Reasonable choice of drinks. The home-made bread is excellent. The starters were good. Spiced cake for the dessert was also lovely.

Cons:
very noisy set up, lack of soft furnishings (curtains etc) makes sound bouncing around a small space, it is virtually impossible to hear (even on Wednesday night).
The main course (and we sampled neck of lamb and pheasant dishes) was very disappointing, both mains were cooked very unsympathetically to the type of meat, over-dried and rubbery.
Poached pear was not poached in any wine, undercooked and tasteless - a real shame, as it is a season for pears...

Prices are quit high, given the overall meal quality, hence 3 star rating. All of the cons are fixable - I would definitely come again if the improvements are made.
