We stayed here in Feb 2013, we had a lovely welcome from the owner even though we arrived quite late. We had a double room which was great, very clean & comfy. TV WiFi & although this guest house doesn't do breakfast there was a great breakfast basket in the room with fruit, biscuits & breakfast bars, tea & coffee.

Fantastic location & would stay again if i come back!

We have been staying at the aquarium guest house once or twice a year for about seven years now and have to say we would not go anywhere else in Brighton, the rooms are all beautifully decorated and warm, exceptionally clean and spacious with everything one could want including fresh fruit, biscuits an cereal bars that are replenished every day, location is perfect, right near the beach and shops, Helen and Scott who run the aquarium are the most delightful and dearest couple one could wish to meet and nothing is too much trouble, the aquarium does not do a breakfast (which does suit us) but this totally reflected in the room rates which considering how much other people in Brighton charge is extremely good value......if you are looking for somewhere to stay then book up at the aquarium, we totally recommend this lovely guest house !!!!!!..........see you soon dear Helen & Scott....

Room Tip: 6 rooms all are en suite, clean and lovely.....

We have stayed at the aquarium many times when visiting our favourite seaside :-) cannot fault the hospitality that Scott and Helen offer. If ever I email they respond almost immediately and cannot do enough for you if it's within their capability. The rooms have been freshly decorated and look fab. Superb location, come out the front door to find the sea on your right and a tesco, bars, cafes, restaurants and other shops. Scott and Helen offer the residents parking at a reasonable price if you are lucky enough to find parking outside or anywhere else in zone c parking. Will continue to book here whenever we are lucky enough to get to Brighton.

This was an excellent find for a great value stay in central Brighton.
There are only a few other rooms in the guest house so it was very quiet and the location is perfect for all amenties.
Room was spacious, well decorated and with a brand new mini-fridge!
There isn't a cooked breakfast on-site and there isn't any guest lounge. But if you are not bothered by these factors then this is a good choice (breakfast basket provided in room complimentary and well stocked teas/coffees/hot chocolates).
The couple who run it were also helpful and friendly.
We will gladly return.

Lovely guest house in a perfect location. I telephoned a few days before our arrival to see if we change from a double bedded room to a twin bedded room. I was given the choice of either the twin bedded or for a few extra pounds extra a room with a superking bed. We opted for the latter. When we arrived and shown to our room (No 7) it was spacious. The room decor was tastefully done and the bathroom was immaculate. We stayed for 2 nights and we both found the bed extremely comfortable, which for me is an absolute must! OK, you don't get a breakfast, but you do get a substantial basket of fresh fruit with breakfast biscuits and chocolates. We found the price very reasonable compared to other B&B's in Brighton
As per a previous reviewer, 2 doors up the the B&B is a wonderful little Italian restaurant. My husband rated the pizzas the best he had ever tasted in the UK.
