My partner and I just returned from a short break in Brighton and have to say this is a fabulous hotel. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and only to pleased to help. The room was immaculate and decor was super trendy. We paid a great rate for the room, each room has its own unique name and desighn, our room was called 'Aragon' and it was amazing value. The room has its own Jacuzzi and steam room, it is very spacious and even has its own little terrace. Breakfast is included in the rate and it was simply delicious, we ordered a full english but are both Vegans so the helpfull staff arranged for us have vegan sausages instead of meat.

The hotel is easy to find, within a couple of minutes away from the beach and town centre and although has no hotel parking, it is a minute away from an underground car park which charges £16 for 24 hours.

My partner and I have travelled quite a bit but never wrote a review without a single critacism so this is a first but credit where it is due and Hotel Una definatly deserve such a great review...

Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Una, you made our stay very pleasent indeed.

What a change from the big hotels of London. After getting stuck in Europe (thanks Iceland Volcano) we decided to get out of London while waiting for a flight home and found this to Trip Advisor. This is a small hotel with all the character you might expect from a small hotel. I travel a lot ,and cannot ever recall a friendlier staff than this one. We asked about where to find live music and they not only gave us a run down, they emailed us reviews and more information. We asked about restaurants and they practically gave us a tour of the city.

The bar is outstanding with great bartenders and lots of friendly conversation. The included breakfast was delicious and made to order.

The rooms are small - they make excellent use of the space and are very interesting from an architectural viewpoint, but they are definitely small. The bed, however, was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep each night we were there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Una and would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Brighton.

The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They booked a first class restaurant for us within a quarter of an hour of our stay.

It has a very nice bar area and room service was available if you wanted to relax in your room with a few drinks.

We had a pleasant room with a side view of the sea and everything was very clean and good toiletries supplied.

I would describe it as a nice chic hotel providing good service all round and would recommend it to young and young at heart couples if staying in Brighton.

There was a very good choice of breakfast, including cooked to order full english, salmon, eggs benedict, etc etc and the staff here were absolutely great again.

We stayed at Hotel Una on a Sunday in March as a treat for ourselves. We arrived early and the reception staff we're very friendly and as they were not fully booked we were offered an upgrade. We were shown the room we had booked and the upgrade and decided on the upgrade. It had a lovely 'super king size' bed that was very comfy and a bath in the room by the window - very luxurious. The room was a very generous size and had lovely period features. In an old property though the insulation wasn't that great so you could hear people walking around in the room upstairs and people talking in the corridor and people on the street. We slept well but we aren't light sleepers - might annoy some people especially in the summer when Brighton is a lot busier.
The staff we're always offering to help. They booked taxis, offered to make dinner reservations, carry bags etc... We had breakfast in bed the next day which was lovely. There are DVDs at the hotel you can borrow to watch in your room. To sum up the rooms and service were top class though and we would return again if we were wanting to treat ourselves to something special as the prices as a bit higher than we would normally pay. I'd definitely recommend for a special treat.

I booked Hotel Una as a last minute treat for my boyfriend & I before we went to a wedding in Brighton over the Easter weekend. On arrival the fantastic manager Paul showed me a few of the available rooms and we settled on the gigantic sunny Eden room with its corner bath and huge floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking the square and the sea. Paul and Coco couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Calling restaurants nearby to see if there was availability at the late hour of our arrival, recommending places to go and even offering to lend us duvets for the next two nights when we were sleeping at friends' houses!! Everything very modern, clean, stylish and and absolute credit to the owners and staff. The enormous bed in our peaceful room was one of the most comfortable either of us have ever slept in, the cocktails made in the bar were scrumptious and the breakfast in our room was the perfect portion size. We would recomment this to anyone going for a romantic weekend by the sea and will hopefully return very soon. Brilliant.

Stayed here over a Saturday night, check in was good staff very helpful with bags etc. showed us our room. Arranged dinner reservation for us that night at the Chilli Pickle - excellent place to eat. We stayed in Flores, nice room, the only thing I would say about the room is the bathroom is compact and when showering the water ends up all over the floor. Also slightly noisy in the morning.
Would I stay again yes definitely....in a different room though.

We stayed here for one night when going to a gig at the Brighton Centre. It is ideally located for the Brighton Centre.

Check-in went smoothly and we were shown to our rooms and helped with our bags. Mine had the free-standing bath in the window; pretty pointless but kinda fun. The rooms (and hotel) are contemporary and nicely done. There is no disguising that the hotel is a converted house, and corridors etc get a bit narrow here-and-there.

The bar is open 24 hours!

Breakfast was good.
