“Perfect!”
Reviewed October 30, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The apartment was beautifully clean with everything you could need for a short break. Katharine the owner was lovely and had even put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge! We liked being close enough to walk into Brighton and all the shops etc but well away from the noise and crowds of the city centre. The private gardens with tunnel to the sea were lovely to stroll around and would be an even better place to spend time in the summer months.

Perfect little place for our weekend away for 2. Situated in a great area of Brighton, very picturesque, close to the sea and a short walk away from the centre. Lovely, clean, homely and well equipped for a short stay. Also a very nice touch with a bottle of wine and gorgeous organic milk upon arrival.

We had a great time here, the southern sussex square allows dogs which is very convenient. The apartment had everything you need to stay for as long as you need. My wife and I booked a weeks stay and we were able to cook suppers lounge around the court yard. The only downside was the apartment does not get any cell service unless your leaning against a wall.

“Small but perfectly formed!”
Reviewed September 16, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Spent an extremely comfortable two nights in this delightful apartment with husband and dog. A really lovely part of Brighton, Kemp Town is stuffed full of lovely pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. The apartment is in a very grand Georgian square and having access to the beautiful private gardens was a huge bonus, especially for our dog. Comfortable bed with lovely linen, Katharine had provided tea, coffee, milk and a bottle of bubbly. So thoughtful. We'll definitely stay here again.

“Nice little apartment for couple”

Everything you need here for a stay in Brighton. Nice and clean and pleasant. Only downside was that although there was parking we had to remember to keep feeding the meter, other than that would recommend this property

A daily parking ticket can be bought for £5.40 which lasts 24 hours from the time of purchase. Further tickets can be bought by phone or via an app so you don't have to return to the car to extend the parking.

“Fantastic location”
Reviewed July 9, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This is a lovely flat in an amazing location with access to some truly magical gardens. My only tip to fellow travellers is that although it's possible to sleep four (there's a sofa bed in the tiny lounge area) I would not recommend it. We struggled with this and catering for four is quite a challenge in the (albeit lovely) space available.. HOWEVER for a couple this is a great little basement flat with a nice outdoor yard and a super shower room. It's on a bus route and in Kemptown which has a great café called Marmalade and a fab gastropub, Busby and Wildes The owner was very easy to deal with and when we had an issue with something she offered to resolve it straight away. A great place for two.

“Fabulous apartment”
Reviewed May 27, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The apartment was in a lovely location, clean and stylish and we had everything we needed for a weekend. We loved having the key to go through the resident's garden, through the tunnel to the beach.
The marina is only a few minutes walk away and the centre of town 10 minutes, although you can also catch the little train along the beachfront. There is an Aldi just along the road and Kemp Thai takeaway was amazing and delivered.
We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back, thanks Katharine.
