I've eaten here a few time and find it to be excellent value for money. The staff couldn't be more helpful and are very passionate about what they are doing. Huge bowls of soup with thick crusty bread, beautifully executed salads, epic sarnies and the halloumi breakfast is a brilliant hangover cure. I don't miss the meat at all! Perfect place to take visiting veggy friends. A lot of love goes into everything they make and I really hope they prosper.

I love this place, warm and inviting not mention it's delicious food. For me its the Gluten Free Cake options, if you're near seven dials in Brighton, take a friend and enjoy :-)

The Almond Tree is a lovely little cafe at Brighton's Seven Dials. The food includes home made cakes straight out of the oven! I had a delicious vegan, gluten-free chocolate cake for afternoon tea. The friendly owners have turned their small venue into a cosy and welcoming space. Highly recommended.

An excellent little restaurant in 7 dials. High quality ingredients and well executed dishes (some of them are not easy!). Rapidly changing menu to match seasons and availability (but somehow it is always good which speaks volumes about the quality of the cooks).

Try the marinated Halloumi and the roast vegetables and wash it down with almond milk!

Now if only they could add bacon to their list of ingredients I would eat here twice a week (but I suspect they would then lose a loyal fan base).

The (now not so) new Italian couple and their re-named Almond Tree are together a breath of fresh southern European air to the Dials. they remind me of the rare alternative/organic/vegan cafes you found occasionally in Italy. Coffee is great (not always a given even in Brighton) and their homemade cakes lovely. The Almond Tree is very much their baby, and as a customer you really can appreciate the homely and friendly atmosphere they generate. Young and full of quiet energy - good luck to them!
