The Royal Pavilion Tavern is ideally located close to Brighton City Centre, the Seafront and The Lanes.
This pub is very similar to Wetherspoons, same sort of decor, furnishings and atmosphere. My boyfriend and I stopped here for food and drinks in the afternoon / early evening after walking around the City Centre and the Brighton Art Gallery & Museum. The prices for drinks, and food is pretty reasonable. The menu and food was great, there is a variety of options for everyone, reasonably priced too, so if you're on a budget, it's worth having a look. My boyfriend had the Swiss Burger meal and I had the Fish and Chips, both lovely dishes, and very filling.
The staff are friendly, and there is security on the door from about 5pm, as the evening, pre-clubbing / night out crowd start coming in for the evening. Good pub, decent music, good food and reasonable prices for drinks. Ideal for a few before a night out or for a short stop during the day.
