Double room on the ground floor, although the back/side is lower than the front so view was not straight onto the street. Very comfy bed, aircon in the room, Bathroom pod in the corner reminded me of uni halls, only bigger. If I was being nitpicky I'd wonder why there was no socket next to the kettle, so it needed moving to the other side where there was not quite enough room for next to the curtains, but not a major deal.
Good price as well, found some slightly cheaper rooms elsewhere but they were all out in Hove, and single rooms in much older hotels. Although this is a city centre hotels noise was not an issue, good windows kept out the street sounds.
Staff were very polite and helpful.

Would recommend.

My Son Lives in Brighton and we enjoy visiting regularly. Hotels in Brighton can be problematic ranging from the seafront conference hotels thronging with sweaty delegates through to B+Bs pretending to be "boutique" by virtue of some purple paint and a zebra skin bedspread through the stag/hen hell of the Travelodges. The Ibis is a very welcome addition to the Brighton scene especially if you are coming by train as there is no onsite parking ( although the station car park as used by Jury's Inn is close if expensive). The Hotel is on the Queens Road near the station and on the way down to the Sea. It is bright, new and modern with materials used that look as if they will last and not get dowdy too soon. Security is good, lifts "guarded" by reception and stairs by room key lock. The double room was large for a chain and was very quiet and clean. Bed and linen were good. towels a bit small and sparse toiletries but I was paying £66 pounds per night room only IN BRIGHTON! The bathroom is a large fibreglass pod in the corner but the shower is large and everything is spotless this is not a wet room the shower has doors and water does not splash all over . Hot water was plentiful. We did not or drink in the hotel why would anyone eat in a hotel with the fleshpots of Brighton beckoning? We will come again.

Dear Mr & Mrs Rhys,

Thank you for taking the time to post your review online. I was happy to read that you found the hotel to be a welcome addition to the available accommodations in Brighton and the hotel itself bright, modern and secure. I am pleased to inform you that we have recently struck an agreement with the NCP car park on North Road, which offers our guests 24 hr parking at a rate of £13, which is very reasonable for Brighton, should you wish to travel by car. Thank you once again for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you and your family back soon. Kindest regards, Dominic Sauls

Pleasant and efficient reception. Clean and comfortable room on sixth floor. (Level 9). Lifts to all floors. Pod type shower room - I like this system. Large comfortable double bed. Good views to the Racecourse, the Pavilion, the Pier and the whole of east Brighton. Nice little Bar and the restaurant always seems busy.(Although we did not use the restaurant - I have a Tastecard - Loads of outlets in Brighton!)
The Hotel is conveniently close to the main Rail station but there was no intrusive sound in the room. There are also bus stops outside the Hotel linking to all parts of Brighton and environs.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
Couple of small niggles. The door to the wet room pod made a loud clacking noise when opened and closed, and the air extractor kept going if we left the door open, a bit annoying through the night.Car parking is a major problem but this is an issue for Brighton rather than this Hotel.

Room Tip: Higher rooms will improve sound insulation. If you are prepared to walk for 10 to 15 mins you can f...

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post such a descriptive review online. I was very happy to receive the 5 star rating for service, cleanliness and value, but was slightly disappointed to see we only managed 4 stars for sleep quality. I have noted your feedback regarding the door closing mechanism and the extractor fan and have tasked my maintenance with reviewing all the room on this level. We look forward to welcoming you and your partner back to the hotel soon. Kindest regards, Dominic Sauls

I stayed for 1 night on business. I had booked online and got the room on a £79 tariff which seemed to be a good deal compared with the advertised prices for those who had not pre booked. I had a twin room with a sofa bed, much more than I needed but would have been a really good value option had I been travelling with my family.

The room contained all you needed, flat screen tv, tea/coffee making facilities and a very comfy bed with lovely soft linen. The bathroom was a clever 'pod' designed feature which was perfectly functional with a good pressure shower which maintained its temperature throughout.

In summary, Good vfm compared to other Brighton hotels in a very accesible location with Friendly and efficient staff.

Stayed here for one night with my girlfriend on a Thursday. Although we did not have breakfast included in the price (Tesco's a few doors down did the trick!) £66 for the room is a good rate for Brighton in the peak season!

Located on the main road, just down from the train station. Check in was swift and the staff friendly. Our room was at the rear of the building. I am a light sleeper and heard some light traffic noise, but would imagine it would be noticeable if you had a room situated on the main road.

Room had air con, hairdryer, towels, tea/coffee facilities, and shower gel. Clean and modern looking. Bathroom was a kind of "pod", water ran a bit hot and cold intermittently but no other issues other than that. The bed was VERY comfy!

Its no frills, but of a good standard for the price. They had deals on their website at the time of booking, so would recommend checking for future deals. Would stay again as it suited our needs and we only used it as a base
