The burgers we ordered were delicious, handmade patties from good quality meat. They are not huge but perfect for lunchtime without chips. Atmosphere was good, service was good and loved the enamel plates food was served in. Situated slap bang on the beach, perfect for watching the world go by

Burgers and fries are delicious and cooked well but i feel a bit unsatisfied after. dont get me wrong burgers are great but are very small, they are advertised as double patty's but only feel like a regular small burger..

Right on the sea front this is a great little cafe serving some tasty food. The burgers and chips are particularly good and the breakfast options are good if you get there before midday. great location for people watching or just sitting in the sun. Not expensive for a beach front location and always lively.

I ordered their chilli burger, that apparently won an award for being so good.
Unfortunately it was greasy, lacking in flavour and quantity.
£7.25 is probably twice what I think it's worth.
The location on the beach is the only real pull for this place.

We started with a double breakfast . It was cooked while we waited and was tasty and served by a very friendly waitress . Bills are sent in an old Holborn tin. Clever idea particularly if windy! Not a posh restaurant by any means but the important things are catered for. Great position adjacent to the beach right next door to the awful Coalition restaurant , DONT go in there by mistake?we returned the next day for Lunch and it was line caught fish and chips which was tasty and reminded me of fish and chips from a time long gone. We had a bottle of wine which was inexpensive and served in ordinary glasses and spent a lovely couple of hours enjoying the view and the bustle of Brighton front
