“Great new bar & Thai cafe”
Review of Green Muse - CLOSED

Green Muse is a great addition to York Place, which is the bit of main road opposite St Peter's Church that links London Road to the North Lane. There are already a couple of good coffee shops & cafes, but this one is a bit different...It is a restaurant, serving Thai food, but it's also a really nice little bar with a great selection of beers, spirits etc - including two or three varieties of the Absinthe it's named after...

We visited on only the second or third day after they opened for a quick lunch. The main courses were only £5 including rice, which is pretty reasonable. We sampled a Pad Thai, a Green Curry and a Red Curry, which were all tasty. We'll definitely be back to check out the evening menu, which is a bit pricier but also longer with some yummy sounding dishes on it. Maybe we'll offset the higher evening food prices by going for early dinner & taking advantage of their Happy Hour on drinks!
