On yet another trip to Brighton this time pleasure not business accompanied by my 4 children. After a gorgeous day at the beach, quick change cinema to see Smurfs 2 and a special birthday meal for my daughter at the amazing La Las.. I honestly can't put into words how special this little piece of heaven is...Darcy was made feel like a west end star for the night , absolutely no problem to do cake which was unbelievably delicious complete with sparkling cocktail(alcohol free) obviously not mine which was fab.. Fabulous cuisine, wine, decor, and the staff are effortless in their customer service, to me it felt like every table were treated as V.I.P and the staff naturally get customers interacting .... Hopefully returning down south soon. LOVED IT.....

Visiting Brighton for the day and after touring the Pavilion we wanted to check out this place after finding it on the internet. Unfortunately they don't do afternoon tea in the summer months but nevertheless we were made very welcome and were given a lovely table in the window so that we could watch the world go by and served a nice big pot of tea with our choice from the dessert menu, just what we needed. The owner is a lovely lady who deserves to be successful for her welcoming and "can do" attitude, nothing was too much trouble. We left happy and refreshed, vowing to make a return visit next time we are in Brighton.

Either we were very unlucky or some recent reviewers may have slightly exaggerated their reviews.

With a very slim menu it should have been easy to produce good simple food. The Paella had good flavour but was a bit dry and rather average. The fish platter had a lot of variety but was, again, average.

Nothing to complain about but nothing special either.

The atmosphere was very 'Brighton' as we say; just a bit OTT on this occasion.

our chef has actually won an award for the best paella....and we found it amazing...no pleasing some people ... and some people have nothing better to do....you write a nondescript review...for badness ???

I only stopped for a quick latte on my way back home, but the welcome and the service was really exceptional!

When next out on the town will definitely eat here! Good menu, locally sourced fresh produce and reasonable prices!

Come on guys lets support local independent traders like this one!
