“Perfect drinks and nibbles”
Reviewed November 30, 2013 via mobile

Wow! what a find! Popped in for preparty drinks and nibbles and wished the party was here! Had a glass or three of Rioja Blanco with the most amazing tapas. The mushroom croquettes and chorizo were just fabulous. Thank you and well done. A great little find!

“Nothing special”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Visited on a Saturday with a group of girlfriends. It's quite small, only about 6 tables (altho there is a downstairs area we found later).
The menu is pretty standard, tho was missing the usually standard meatball dish which was a shame. Some of the food arrived and wasn't overly hot (temperature-wise), there's nothing wrong with the food, it's just not special or memorable. The chorizo was probably the tastiest dish and was nicely done - brought to the table and and flambéd for you.
The service wasn't very attentive - we weren't offered more drinks, had to ask for them.
It was a pretty cheap night out, but would have been happy to pay more if the food had been better. Think there are better tapas places in Brighton, so try them first!

“a fun and friendly place for lunch”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

I have been there with my family 3 days ago and we enjoyed the tasty lunch with Solomillo a la Castellana, tenderloin of pork cooked with ham, and onion and wine sauce. I love this place because there is a very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We will come back soon and recommend the place for the rest of the family and our friends.

“An evening of tasty Tapas”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

We are lucky enough to have some great Tapas restaurants in Brighton, and as I love authentic Spanish food, I've been to most of them.
Vinos y Tapas is fairly new, and next on my list to visit.
I went there with a group of friends on Saturday evening, and we were seated at a large table in the basement.
To get into the true spirit of Tapas, we all ordered a couple of different dishes each to share, with some bread and paella thrown in.
All washed down with a few bottles of wine and beer.
The food went down very well, and the service was excellent.
I look forward to a return visit.
