I was unfamiliar with Brighton, and thought a chain restaurant would be a safe bet. Wrong. The restaurant was small, with only a few tables spread over a couple of rooms. I felt like I was in someone's living room. Our waitress was very nice and the food came quickly, but I kinda wish it hadn't. I ordered Pollo Milanese, which when arrived was basically a slap of preformed chicken - not a chicken breast as listed in the menu - served with a small amount of a fairly tasteless sauce and some chips that were clearly from a freezer, not hand cut. The 'greens' it was served with was a small pile of limp cabbage. This was all made harder to swallow when the dish cost nearly £13, and the small 200ml glass bottle of coke (when the menu states 330ml) was £2.30. I was hungry and cold, so ate it without complaint, but I certainly wouldn't every step inside this chain again or recommend it.

Definitely recommend, staff very attentive and friendly. Pasta very tasty! Had a voucher code which means we got a starter and main for £10.25, which meant bill was also reasonable.

A family dinner for 4 at approx 8.30pm on Saturday 24th August,2013. no booking required, got a table immediately on entry, very pleasant young english waitress, made us all at ease, menus promptly given to us and drinks ordered within minutes, good measure of Merlot Veronese (red) for .£5.95 (a large glass.but not that large..!) for me.
Others in our party ordered cokes, water and 'red' orange canned drinks, no heavy drinkers.
Garlic bread and olives ordered as a starter; pizza board style and very tasty.
Main courses, 2- fettucini.. let the side down at £9.25 each with a poor gravy like sauce & taste nothing much to write home about,my Lasagne although on the small side ,was very hot but tasty at £10.25 .with a very small bowl/side salad which did not have a nice tasting lettuce, rather bitter.!
cousin had Pollo Millanaise which looked great and tasted even better -£12.75. and a nice sized portion at that. Desserts-one chocolate Amore-£5.45.very tasty.! one Tiramasu-nice-£5.25. a Raspberry sorbet-two scoops very tasty & V.cold-£3.95. and one Profiteroll chocolatto-£5.65p.
A thoroughly great appetising evening with superb waitressing. Bill approx £85 ,no service charge incl.. Their wines are a delight and know we must go again soon.
