“Fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

After a sleepless night in a hotel I didn't like at all, this cafe saved my sanity! Yummy food, lovely staff, terrific atmosphere, just charming. Hugely recommended. The only problem was that everything on the menu looked fabulous, and as the waitress brought various plates of food to other customers, I kept thinking, "Ooh, I wish I'd chosen that!" Simply splendid place, go go go!

“Slow and pricey”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

This relates more to their cafe on Queen Street near the station. Initial impression: stylish if you like the plank tables and galvanised metal look. A good menu to choose from. But service is rather slow. A small latte and disappointing dry (stale?) croissant took about 10 mins to reach my table with only about 6 other customers in. So you could certainly watch the world go by as you wait. Overall a disappointing experience given the place looks so promising. They could make this a lot better.

“A rather average experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

Been here now twice for breakfast, and enjoyed the location being able to sit outside a people watch and was interested because of its recent award, but...... The English breakfast was not up to scratch the pork sausages were not very meaty, and tasted quite cheap, and the bacon was far too over cooked, and the poached eggs were not runny at all. The toast was very good though.

The following visit I opted for the pancake with fruit, and when it arrived it looked beautiful, however although the pancakes were warm, they were definitely not fresh. Very dry, and tough.

My partner has the scrambled eggs on toast which was very nice.

Another down point is the drinks seem to take awhile to arrive even we they are not busy.

Thank you for choosing Café Coho and for your recent review.

I would like to assure you that our sausages are Free Range Cumberland's with a very high meat content. Most definitely not a cheap sausage!

Please accept my apologies if the bacon was overcooked and the egg not runny. Retrospective and not always convenient at the time, but if any customer is not happy all staff know to offer to re-make.

Thank you once again for taking the time to leave valuable feedback.

Regards

James

“Great coffee, tasty breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

Chose Cafe Coho for final breakfast during a brief visit to Brighton. Lovely position, on a dog-leg in the Lanes, with outdoor tables, ideal for people-watching. Excellent coffee, lovely fresh baked goods on offer. Croissant and muffin superb. Could have loitered for hours, quite happily.

“Beautiful coffee and cafe food”

Quaint little cafe in a back street near the beach. Has indoor outdoor and upstairs facilities. Also has a toilet. Service is great, coffee amazing and the foods great too. Loved it here
