we found this tucked up in the lanes last time we were in Brighton and son wanted to try it this time. the restaurant is very nice the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff are excellent very attentive and the service was first class the food was amazing very tasty and well presented. The only draw back was the price the food was a little expensive but the drinks was just ridiculously priced next time will definitely be having a few beers in pub round corner first and straight back there afterwards shame cause would of loved to have stayed there longer

love this place on a sunday as everything is 50% off the menu. I for one love dimsum and the options are endless.
We tend to get a bit of everything and take our time eating between courses. Have always recieved great service and never been rushed, there have been occasions where we stayed for drinks after with friends. The seating outside is lovely especially on a sunny day!
would highly recommend!

We got a table in the outdoor courtyard area here which was lovely on a summers day, the staff were friendly and greeted us with some complimentary pickled cucumber and squid ink prawn crackers which were impressive to look at and not bad eating. We found the food here fairly reasonable quality but portion sizes varied a fair bit, the pan seared scallops were rather uninspiring for £9, in contrast the house special Ninja beef with 3 oysters for £11 was very tasty and great value.

Overall we found the dishes a bit hit and miss, I'm sure if you knew the right things to order you would have a great meal but if you chose poorly it could be rather pricey for not too much.

A special mention however goes to the dessert platter, there was a variety all of which were absolutely delicious and for £10 was excellent.

After a hectic hen weekend in Brighton, myself and a friend spent Sunday pottering around the lanes when we happened across Yum Yum Ninja.

The restaurant itself is tucked down a short alley way and has a bright couryard with out door seating - metal tables and charis with bright "vintage" table clothes, flowers in lychee cans, palm parasols. Inside is quirky contemporary asian - rice paper walls, statement light fittings, great bar area, so all in all a good start.

Upon being seated at our table our waitress arrived and took our drinks orders, which were delivered with a complimentary serving of pickled cucumber and the most amazing black and white spotty prawn crackers - they looked great and tasted even better.

We chose to eat from the Dim Sum menu - though this was a tough choice, as the main meals we saw going out looked fab. All of the 5 sets we ordered were excellent, however the cuttlefish and squid fishcake and the chicken gyoza were stand out dishes.

The service was good, atmosphere great - we really loved this place. We are now planning our next trip to Brighton in part so that we can return to Yum Yum Ninja to sample more of their great food.
