Visited here on 31 October. Service is outstanding and really friendly, food was great - the best poached eggs in Brighton! Really reasonable on price and could not fault this lovely restaurant. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the Brighton Lanes for shopping. Some of the Lanes eateries are really expensive and not as good as here!

We stopped for a wonderful breakfast before shopping and then returning for a late afternoon treat of a glass of lovely wine, accompanied with fresh prawns, aioli and brown buttered bread, sitting in our favourite window seat, watching the world go by. Both Francesca and Christian (the proprietors) made us feel so very welcome. The service was prompt and super friendly.

Went to Time Out on 12th October and had a very warm welcome from owner Christian. Ordered black pudding for starter served on top of a fried apple ring, topped with a poached egg-delicious. Main course was pork belly served with spinach and mash-pork belly beautifully cooked. I was too full to order a dessert but the menu was very tempting. Service was faultless and the whole experience was very enjoyable. The decor is typically seaside-sort of feels like a posh beach hut! Happy and relaxed atmosphere-enjoy!

A little bird told us that Time Out is now open for dinner on Friday & Saturday. They are doing a 3 course meal for £14!.... Had to try that & was NOT disappointed. Great food & beautifully served.
Flowers & candles on the tables & soft background music created a happy & relaxed atmosphere.
The 3 courses were served promptly, with decent portions of delicious food from a great menu.
How do they do it?? A real treat. Will be back. Thank you Time Out.
