Situated in the quiter part of Kemp Town, this smaller cafe is cosy and cleanly presented.
Although slightly expensive in comparison of nearby establisments, such as 'ground' coffee house, the cake we had was a small portion but fresh.
The service was ok but a bit more attention from staff when placing the order would have been appreciated.
The time taken to serve drinks was good but then the staff had to be reminded of our food order- hence the comment about staff paying attention.
The place has a nice atmosphere to regulars but as a newbie customer, such as we were, this was noted to favour regulars in levels of service.
We paid and left wondering if this is a place reliant on local people and custom or if a more welcoming approach could attract more customers to what is, after all, a nice place offering good snacks.
