“Excellent stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

We stayed for a sunny May weekend. Location was perfect, Accommodation plush and well maintained. Owners and staff polite and helpful but not at all intrusive. For our stay, a lovely breakfast was made to order and served in our room. Honestly can't fault it, will certainly be back.

I have tried several B&B's in Brighton before. Since I found the Pavilions a few years ago my search is over - it's simply the best place to stay. Ken and Phil make you feel welcome from the minute you walk into the house. The house is one of the cleanest I have ever been in, it's decorated lovely in every detail. My single-room was as small as it was described on their website, but I was really surprised that I did not miss anything at all. Enough space for me. The house is located just a short walk away from the city centre, but in a very quiet area. If you come by car: Yes, it might not be possible to find a parking space near the front door. But in the four times I've been there the longest I had to walk from my car to the hotel was two minutes.

Everything you could want from a stay. Clean, cosy and welcoming. Ken & Phill (is it with two ll's ?) were very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was also very nice indeed served by a delightfully chirpy waiter. Would recommend to all !! See you next year (maybe before ;-)

Our second stay, and even better. From the friendly welcome from Ken and Phil, the superbly comfortable and warm rooms, to the delicious vegetarian breakfasts, everything is what you could wish for. Plus the location is ideal- a short walk through Kemptown or along the front to the centre of Brighton and yet a quiet, peaceful street. We'll be staying again!

Lovely, cosy place to stay. Room was as advertised. Clean and compact with all you need for a short stay. Full English Breakfast was delicious - shame it was not offered at the same time on the weekend. It's offered an hour later which meant having to make do with a continental one instead as I was attending a scheduled course. It was nice, but I missed the lovely cooked breakfast.
That said - would definitely stay there again.

In a great location, a quiet street but close to the lovely Kemptown The Pavilions far exceeded our expectations. The welcome from Ken and Phil, the beautiful aroma of the whole house and its spotlessness were fantastic. It was lovely to have fresh flowers in the room, together with proper china tea set for that morning cup of tea. When breakfast was served there was yet an even better china tea set too! All this goes to make a special stay even better.
Ken and Phil went out of their way to help us locate a certain place and were even able to provide me with that forgotten hairspray!
Come on Britain let's take a leaf out of their book and get other B&B's up to the standard of The Paviliion!
Thanks for a great stay. Will be back.

The Pavilions is ideally situated to all the local attractions.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ken who showed us to the Pompeii room. He explained the pavillions layout and what was on locally.
The room was clean with everything to hand and a very comfortable bed...lovely!
Breakfast was hearty, with all requirements catered for. The service was excellent and all staff polite and helpful.
A very enjoyable stay. Go on...spoil yourself!
