Returned on another visit staying in March mid-week, although weather sunny it was freezing, but always got back to lovely warm room

The house is very stylish and service second to none, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice served by charming young Spanish man

We hope to return again

We stayed at the Brighton Pavillions Hotel, Ken and Phil made us feel so welcome, they recommended a couple of restaurants for our break, spot on. A box of chocolates appeared in our room as a birthday present. It's these touches that seperate the ordinary from the excellent.
If we ever get to Brighton again, this will be where will stay.

Room Tip: Look on the internet, all rooms are themed.

Very friendly host with exceptional attention to detail when it comes to hospitality. Rooms and their bathrooms were very clean. Very quite rooms and comfy beds. I always look for things to pick on when I go to B&Bs but could not find any and I would honestly say this hotel ticked all the right boxes on my list. By far the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Rooms have themes from different countries, we really liked Pompei.

Booked into the Royal Pavilions, which is the Kemp Town, which is the bohemian part of the city. Both hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable, gave a great tip for an excellent local Thai restaurant.

Breakfast was filling and enjoyable, the rooms were 'themed' which may not be to everyone's taste, enjoyable all the same. The room was very clean and had good views. We were in the Mikado room, which was on the top floor. It's three flights of stairs to get there, so you may be out of breath by the time you reach your bedroom. If you want spacious rooms (and we didn't) then you might find some of them a little small.

Would certainly recommend this as a place to stay for a weekend in Brighton.

Room Tip: Only book the Mikado room if you can manage three flights of stairs!

Thank you for your kind comments, but just a reminder that we are 'Brighton Pavilions' not the Royal one!! The rooms may be themed in décor but they have modern facilities and most guests stay with us to enjoy a change from the bland contemporary style of modern hotels. Glad you enjoyed the views from Mikado, it’s location on the third floor is always advised in advance and attracts a discount in low season for the inconvenience. There are also half landings and even a chair to take a rest enroute! If a guest does want a more spacious room then we do have 4-poster rooms available, but they are more expensive. We hope to see you again in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Royal Pavilion room, which really is styled after Queen Victoria's room in the real Royal Pavilion. I felt like Queen Victoria with the luxurious four-poster bed and a delicious breakfast delivered each morning. We could even see the Channel from our bay window! The whole guest house is so beautifully decorated and gracious. And the location in hip, funky Kemp Town is perfect. It's a short walk to the center of Brighton, the Lanes, North Laine. We really enjoyed long walks along the shore too.

The wifi worked well, which is important to me. And the room was stocked with cereal, yogurt, water and soda, granola bars and the like, all included in the price. We enjoyed making tea and having real milk in the fridge to put in it. And I'm a sucker for hotel bathrobes, I just felt so decadent lounging around in one.

The hosts Ken and Phil's restaurant recommendations were spot on. In fact, the one time we ate at a place that was NOT on their list, we were disappointed, so we learned to stick to their list. Staying at Brighton Pavilions was one of the best vacations ever!

Room Tip: I imagine they're all good. Ours faced the street but was quiet, and we enjoyed the view.

We visited the hotel for a romantic getaway and we really enjoyed our stay in the lovely Pompeii room. Everything was very clean and the staff was more than friendly. Our only regret is not being able to wake up for breakfast.

Room Tip: Pompeii room - Nice atmosphere for couples.
