Jane Bom Bane is a legend and I'd say if you've not been to Bom Banes bonkers Brighton bistro with a Belgian twist you've missed a trick.
Goldfish bowl on my head? All that and more besides. It's indescribable cabaret, Bon homie, sausages and more. Go as a couple or in a group - book in advance you won't be disappointed. I love this place and I've visited 4 times with friends family and a work group. Every time a great experience.
Love the waffle dessert too!

A charming coffee shop hidden away on George Street in Brighton. Lovely quirky little cafe- great place to pop in for a coffee or a little bite to eat off the lunch menu. Charismatic friendly owner, really makes you feel welcome. A must-go!

I completely agree with 'secondclassmale' review and to be honest can't say it any better myself - so read his!!

This place is an absolute gem, as is Jane Bom-Bane from where the name of the restaurant comes. I've been half a dozen times now and never failed to be entertained, well fed and come away with a smile on my face - can't say fairer than that!

Watch out for their amazing 'performances' during the festival and at xmas.

Although the food was fine, the real experience here is the intimate setting and the fact the staff come out to dinner and sing to you!

If you're looking for somewhere to eat that epitomises all that's great about Brighton, particularly Kemptown, you can't go far wrong with a trip to Bom-Bane's. The staff are lovely and provide a great service, the interior (and exterior) will keep you entertained for hours with it's range of strange tables and the waffles......oh the waffles! Freshly cooked warm, crispy Belgian waffles served with hot extra thick chocolate sauce, double cream and strawberry's (one of your 5-a-day at least), they make an M&S food advert look like the start of Kitchen Nightmares. If you haven't slipped in to a food coma after these and are still awake in the evenings they have music and films in the evenings in the intimate downstairs venue. The oprice is good to. If you're not sold by this point then why exactly are you visiting Brighton?
