Recently refurbished with comfortable beds run by an efficient team. Park your car for £5 for 24hrs. bus stop opposite to get to beach and town centre. Would definitely stay here again. Buffet breakfast top set you up for the day.

Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Good value for money. Would definately stay at this Travelodge again. Menu choice could have been better especially for breakfast - not a lot of choice for vegetarians.

The Hotel is not bad, large room,TV,tea coffee, nice comfy bed.
The problem with this hotel the entrance is under a number of bedrooms and at this time of year groups of people congregate here smoking and drinking and sorry to say lots of bad launguage.
You cannot open your bedroom window unless you want your room full of cigarette smoke and worse of all the noise goes on till early hours.
To be fair the hotel might not always have groups of yobs staying but on this occasion it certainly did.
The cooked breakfast was very good and worth the money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel, this will limit the distress that might occur.

Had room 502 overlooking the A23 into Brighton. Nice room but no air conditioning and had to have the window closed due to traffic noise. However still very noisy and add to this the fact that other residents were talking, arguing etc. outside the front of the hotel till at least 1.30am and then at 6.00am when others got up to leave. Told reception this in the morning and they said next time they will give us a room at the back - there will not be a next time !! This was our first visit to a travel lodge and was not the experience we were expecting. Good news - all the staff were delightful

Room Tip: Not facing the front

We stayed here for 3 nights. The price we paid was competitive. The parking cost was not excessive (have you tried parking in Brighton without needing a mortgage?) and the hotel is close to a bus stop where you can access the excellent city bus saver scheme. Our room involved navigating 8 doors (what an extraordinary building!!!) and the excessive noise created by opening and closing them was pretty annoying/ We expected the room to be basic, though a single small 'capsule' of shower gel and no soap was mean to say the least; on one day both towels had rips in them. Extra tea bags and milk were supplied in abundance and willingly. We tried the 'all you can eat, breakfast' just once, but it was expensive and it was easy to find better quality even within walking distance. Would we stay there again? Possibly, but it certainly isn't the Ritz!
