“Absolutely brilliant!”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

On a short break to Brighton, looking for a really good breakfast and had read reviews about LangeLee's so took my 2 daughters to sample the fayre. In a word...Faultless. Greeted on arrival with a friendly welcome and smile. We're from East London and have eaten English breakfasts at the legendary Smithfield meat market and, I have to say, the quality of food is just as good. Only, at LangeLee's, you get free tea or coffee (and great coffee, at that!) My eldest daughter didn't want mushrooms so a free alternative was offered straight away. Excellent food, service and value for money. Well worth the great reviews given. Well done guys!

“Hits the spot”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Came here with my girlfriend for a recovery breakfast after looking on tripadvisor, we both had the LangLee's breakfast which I was just about able to finish. For the amount of food you get the price is fantastic and it's all perfectly cooked and presented. Service was very friendly too and we were brought water without even asking.

“Great Breakfast”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

Myself and my boyfriend stumbled upon this place having just moved to the area and had the most wonderful breakfast. The eggs Royale i had and the full breakfast he had were delicious, we got some extras too and coffee of course- everything was great and the service was the best we had experienced in a long time. good value too. will definitely be heading back as soon as possible and have already been recommending it to others already!

“Charming and helpful, with informative yet unobtrusive service”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

We arrived in Brighton by train a little after 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, and by the time we reached the chippy we'd been recommended it was five minutes past their closing time of 3pm, so they wouldn't serve us. Disappointing. The next caff we came to gave us the same reception: Just Closed. So we decided to fuel up at the very next non-chain nosherie we could find on the way back to the seaside, and LangeLees it was. Comfy-looking but a little unprepossessing on first sight, and I was worried we might be overcharged for some local chintziness - but I couldn't have been more wrong. We were warmly greeted and given a couple of chances to order before we finally made up our minds and got stuck into hairs of the dog before being served really tasty breakfasts. Mine was the Langelees, my partner's the poached eggs with smoked salmon and spinach. The ingredients were all very good and the meals were perfectly cooked. Total price for both of us came in at a shade over 20 quid including tea and beers. Next time we're in Brighton, that recommended chippy mightn't even get a look-in. Final commendation goes to the staff - what lovely people! But not at all over-attentive. Spot on!

“Go for Breakfast”

Great little gem of London Road. Must have the Lange Lee's Breakfast, it's the perfect way to start your day and has free coffee included. It can fill you up to the brim and is really tasty too!
