“Relaxed”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Went here on a cold, wet evening with a group which included several children. We were warmly welcomed which isn't always the case with children!! Atmosphere was relaxed, the children (and us) loved the live music.
Went for the set 2 course menu, food was very good. Children's meals were good, no complaints.
Waiting staff attentive but not intrusive. A good evening.

My only gripe, and it is a BIG gripe, is the 10% service charge. Should be banned in my opinion, who knows where it goes I didn't leave a tip and hope the staff get it on top of their wages and not s part of them.!!

“Lovely food at good prices, great atmosphere.”
Reviewed February 6, 2014 via mobile

Little bay is really special with their opera dinner. We went with a big group of friends and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food is nice, though the veggie options not that exciting. But the prices are very good for what you get. And the opera singer we had was great, very funny. The staff is nice and friendly and we had a great evening. Will definitely come back.

“Birthday Celebrations”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

Booked several weeks ago and on arrival were ushered into the neighboring hotel to wait for our table. Because of the very bad weather we were told the main door was shut and that all diners had to use the hotels entrance. The restaurant is very quirky and potentially very lucrative but was extremely cold. I should have noticed that other diners were still wearing their coats!
We were shown to our table which was adjacent to the waiters work station, not a good spot, but on a positive note, the service was good. Generally the food was good but the rib eye steak I had ordered was not worth the money.
The singer was competent but all the songs she sung sounded the same. For a Saturday night I would have expected maybe a male and a female singer, just a thought.
Value for money for Brighton but I wouldn't be rushing to book again.

“Excellent night out..”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

Had a fantastic eve at this restaurant. Booked last minute after the weather turned so as attached to our hotel we thought it was an easy option.. The set menu at £11.99 pp for 3 courses was unbelievable value.. We sat in a booth which was both intimate and unique ... Totally recommended 5 stars for value, food quality and service. !!

we ate here on our anniversary - and decided to go based on precious reviews on trip advisor ... and we definitely wernt disappointed , we sat in a curtained box which felt very romantic, and the restaurant is great! loved all the theatrical boxes and decoration ....
the food was amazing , and we couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were.. and the cocktails are SO yummy! ... there was a lady singing while we ate and she was great - very relaxing and made the night extra special..

thank you so much for making our anniversary a very memorable and romantic one x
