Despite the awful weather a visit to the Pavilion is a must. It is an awe inspiring place, plenty to see & admire with a free audio guide to help the viewing. Buy a catalogue to get full information on all the exhibits.

Went here last night for the ice skating and it looked lovely! Ice was a bit mushy so hard to Skate on but was still a nice experience! Would come back again (even if it was expensive at £13 per person for 1hr)

We had a day trip to Brighton and decided to go ice skating at the temporary ice skating rink at the Brighton Royal Pavillion. The Ice rink is a good size and didn't feel as crowded as some other temporary rinks I have been on.The back drop of the Royal Pavillion seems to add to the magical atmosphere of the of the skating rink. We went as a family, our youngest being just 8 years old. He started off holding onto a mobile penguin, but was very soon able to skate on his own. For those a little younger or less able to get the hang of skating there is a separate childrens area for skating. As a family we all enjoyed the experience and it started the feeling of Christmas for us all.

Truly remarkable and very efficiently done. No guides but the handsets are comprehensive. You can take as much time as you wish and it would be impossible to even manage a quick walk through in less than an hour.

The pavillion is fantastic, and well worth a visit if your in brighton, the insides are spectacular, and we went Ice skating on a rink just outside, it was great, they lit up the pavillion, very atmospheric at night, and very christmassy!
