I used to come to this park years ago with my children and we would sit by the fish pond feeding the fish. Lovely large play area, and lots going on and nice cafe.

Freshly cooked, reasonably priced varied daily menu, with great staples like their homemade burgers and mere plates.

Nice, cheap wine selection, so feels grown up, despite being incredibly child-friendly.

All park cafés should be like this.

Despite the inclement weather for most of the summer I have been through St Ann's Well Gardens on a number of occasions. Rach tim there were motehrs there with their children taking advantage of the well kept open space. The cafe has definitely upgraded from the 'snack bar' it once was.

I have not been to this park for a few years. It seemed to have everything. OK we went there on a beautiful September day. It was a lovely scene to look at. Everyone was having a great time. There were people playing tennis, drinking coffee, sleeping, kissing, throwing firisbees and children playing in the two kids areas,. I have never felt such an atmosphere in a park. This has to be the best park in Brighton (or Hove actually).
