This park is a great place to read a book, walk a dog, sunbathe, meet with friends & family, play with younger family members and chill out. The cafe is well run and features homemade cakes and meals. In May this year the park hosted the spectacular Jardin Flambeau event as part of the Brighton Festival - truly amazing. The park often hosts live music events, fetes, dog shows and family oriented events and festivals. On Tuesday mornings 11.30am to 12.30 a library van visits the park - which is great for tots and oldies alike. Visitors can have barbecues in the park if they use hardstanding areas and avoid ruining the lawn areas. Theatrical events often take place in the scented garden - including Shakespeare plays - an area which also hosts yoga classes in the summer months.

This is a fantastic local park with mature trees close to central Brighton.

If you need somewhere for a quiet break you can sit opposite the little pond and ponder. If you need some exercise you can play tennis (8 courts) or play bowls. It is great for walking the dog.

If you need to wear out the kids there's a large children's play area (with a huge slide!)

Best of all is the cafe - where you can get a range of good snacks.

This is a beautifully well kept informal site with a fantastic cafe run by passionate staff. It has a well deserved Green Flag Award - an accolade given to the best parks and green spaces across the country. I will certainly make a bee-line for St Anns Well Gardens and cafe next time I'm in Brighton.
