I like North Laine as there are a diffierent variety of shops from new to 2nd hand. Retro to vintage. A lovely place to wander round before going to the other lanes.

It has been a while since I had a good mooch around, but the whole place has a feel good factor. You can always find something different there.

North Laine is the quirky, independent part of Brighton, away from the shopping centres. And all the better for it. You can wander and browse at leisure and just be yourself.

If you want to roam around and look this works well - but unless you have a pocket of cash its a bit pricey. Lots of quirky shops so well worth a wander

I have 3 small children, however I do like to eat out and always struggle to find places in Brighton that you feel comfortable in with the children. Even though I didn't have mine on this particular visit my 1 year nephew was with us. We came in for sunday lunch, managed to find a comfortable table straight away. They were very busy but the food was quick and hot and very tasty, would recommend the roasts.
Best of all there was plenty of space for the little one to move around and there were lots of other children in there making it a more relaxing experience than in previous places we have visited in the city that claim they are child friendly.

The place itself is spacious and airy with lots of room, a nice place to spend a sunday afternoon with friends.

Will definitely be going back on the next visit.
