“Fantastic - atmosphere to step back in time...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

A must for all when visiting Brighton. It is free to walk along with a wide range of shops such as food, drink, fish and chips and of course amusements with a large funfair. there are ample seating areas and good for disabled visitors.

there are fantastic view from the pier.

“Nice to walk around, good if you like arcades”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

It was nice to stroll on and you didn't have to pay a fee. The arcade is quite large and you win tickets which you can exchange for 'prizes'. There is a small funfair at the end but I didn't go on any rides. There are also a couple of kiosks selling confectionary and some gifts. A nice place for a stroll on a sunny day or of an evening to watch the sunset.

“A walk back in time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

The pier itself is fantastic - a real testiment to engineering that's stood the test of time. It's really lovely to take a promonade down the pier, looking out to sea or back accross the sea front of Brighton. You can buy some fish and chips to eat while you wander - but look out for dive-bombing seagulls though! Maybe better to sit in the lovely fish and chip resterant (out of the wind) and then continue your walk.
The attractions on the pier are like a mini-funfair, with large arcades that are bright and noisy. It's fun to spend a little time in them if that's your thing - personally it's more fun to me just playing the penny machines of a by-gone era - but the fun of being on the pier is the experience itself, rather than any of the things on there.
