Ok so its free to go on, but everything is so expensive once you are there, £3.80 for 4 doughnuts for example, Lots of places to take silly pictures and such a range of gaming machines available, and the rides at the end of the pier are not too bad either, one moan - my wife loves to play the grab games but here they appear to be set a little too sensitive, 4 times we had picked up a toy, but just as the grabber took the weight of the toy it dropped it immediately, so not fair really, we went twice in two days and could see no-one had managed to win a toy in the one we had tried as everything was in exactly the same place.

Wow, it is rare to find a pier still operating in this day and age.

What a treat and it is truly fantastic that this pier has been preserved and still operates.

More importantly entrance is Free as are deckchairs which can be found to relax in.

This is a must see and you will find everything from shops, food including fish & chips and a slot machine hall and then at the end of the pier a whole load of fair ground rides ranging from a Ghost Train Ride to Dodgem Cars.

The rides are can be taken by handing in tokens some rides need 3 and some 4 tokens. Tokens can be purchased for £1 a token. My tip is to find one of the token kiosks where the rides start and take advantage of a deal they have where for £20 you will get a bag of 30 tokens.

Great little pier which is free to walk round - has everything you would expect from a pier including slot machines, fairground rides, candy floss and lovely sea air!

What an awesome place to waste away a few hours and a few pounds!
The rides are pretty basic, but still fun and reasonably priced.. (Similar to what you would pay for a ride anywhere).
The indoor games areas have loads of the coin machines to play as well as the usual simulator type games.
This place is a must visit on a trip to England - even if you shot down from London for the day!

I loved the view out to sea and how relaxing it was sitting on the free deck chairs that are available for all to use....so pleasant to walk along
